Kim Weidemann

Kim is a freelance researcher and writer, specialising in iGaming, casino, betting, and cryptocurrency-related content.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree with majors in Business Management and Economics. At university, she gained a thorough understanding of statistics, investments, mathematical modelling, finance, marketing, and technology.

After completing her studies Kim joined Discovery Health as a Billing Specialist. During her time there she was awarded numerous certificates for performance excellence. Although she enjoyed her role, she was keen to move to the beautiful city of Cape Town, where she still lives. Having always been an avid online gamer and casino enthusiast, Kim applied for a position at a leading online casino outsourcing company located in Cape Town. She joined the company as a Quality Assessor and received vigorous training from some of the online casino industry’s brightest minds. Kim has been working in the online casino sphere in various capacities for over a decade now. She has no plans to change her career.

When Kim isn’t testing online casinos and casino games, she can be found reading non-fiction books, keeping up to date with technology, or watching a good movie. She also enjoys going to the beach when the weather is good.

Asked what her favourite casino game is, Kim answered, “It’s difficult to choose a favourite because it changes all the time. With the constant evolution of slot mechanics and improvements in graphics, every day I expect to have a new favourite. What I can say is that I love a good bonus round.
